If the photo are in a library now put them in an album and sort By Date, oldest first: So to get the photo in the order taken or created you need to put them in a Photo library which will sort by the creation date, either newest first or oldest first. The Finder only works with the the file created date. You're confusing the created date for the image files with the EXIF capture date for the images themselves. Is there a plugin i can use, or anything else other than downloading each file, one by one, and renaming them, one by one, to ensure the photos are sequential? How do I download my photos in sequential order, so that the "created" or "modified" on the computer is the date the picture was taken, not downloaded? I know there is an option to download the originals, but that still doesn't work effectively altering the photo in any way changes the "modified" timestamp from the date taken vs date changed. However, now, with the Photos app and everything being stored in the cloud, when I download the photo, the "created" date is the datestamp of the download.
